Anne Ryland lives on the England-Scotland border. Unruled Journal (Valley Press, 2021) is her third collection, and Autumnologist was shortlisted for The Forward Prize for Best First Collection. Widely published in journals and in anthologies including Thin Places & Sacred Spaces (Amethyst Press, 2024), she has also translated poems by the German poet Hilde Domin. Anne was recently awarded first prize in the Second Light Long Poem Competition and longlisted for The Plaza Prose Poetry Prize.
